How to Add Participants from a Previous Challenge

Running another challenge with the same group? No need to start from scratch.

You can easily pull in participants from a previous challenge in just a few clicks.


When should I use this?

Use this if:

  • You’re running a recurring challenge (monthly, seasonal, etc.)

  • You want to re-invite the same group without sharing a new code

  • You’re managing a large group and want to skip manual invites


How to add participants from a previous challenge

Step 1: Open your current challenge

From your SuperDash dashboard:

  • Select the challenge you want to add participants to

  • Go to the Participants tab

Step 2: Click “Add” on the challenge participants table

  • This opens a list of your previous challenges

Step 3: Select a previous challenge

  • Choose the challenge you want to pull participants from

  • You’ll see the number of participants in that challenge

Step 4: Add participants

  • Click “Add to challenge.”

  • Users will be added to your current challenge instantly


What happens next?

  • Participants are added directly to your challenge

  • If your challenge hasn’t started yet, they’ll be ready to go on day one

  • If it’s already live, they’ll join immediately


Things to keep in mind

  • Only participants who already have Stridekick accounts can be added

  • This doesn’t send a new invite—they’re added automatically

  • If someone doesn’t want to participate, they can leave the challenge anytime


Pro tips for smoother launches

  • Pair this with announcements to let people know they’ve been added

  • Double-check your participant list before starting the challenge

  • For large groups, use filters (like device type or activity) to stay organized


Common questions

Can I remove someone after adding them?

Yes. You can remove participants from the Participants table at any time.

Can I add everyone at once?

Yes—just select all participants from the previous challenge before adding.

What if I don’t see a previous challenge?

Make sure you’re logged into the same account that created the original challenge.

What if I've reached my challenge limit?

If you have reached your challenge limit, you will receive an error message. Reach out to your Account Manager for information on adding members to your plan.
