Need a break from notifications? Here’s how to mute all in-app and push notifications for a specific chat thread in the Stridekick mobile app.

💬 Why Mute?

Stridekick’s chat feature is a fun way to connect, but sometimes you need a little quiet—especially in an active challenge or team thread.


Muting a chat will stop both push and in-app notifications for that specific conversation.

📲 How to Mute a Chat

  1. Open the Stridekick app

  2. Go to your Chat inbox and tap the thread you want to mute

  3. Tap the three dots (⋯) in the upper right corner of the chat

  4. Select Mute challenge/team chat

  5. Tap Mute > then Done to confirm

✅ If you return to your chat inbox, you'll now see that your chat thread has been muted as shown below.

🔔 How to Unmute a Chat

Changed your mind? You can unmute anytime:

  1. Open the muted chat thread

  2. Tap the three dots (⋯) in the top right

  3. Tap Unmute challenge/team chat

  4. Tap Done to confirm

✅ Notifications will resume for that thread
