I upgraded to Pro, but don't see Pro features on my challenge

Not seeing higher participant limits, private settings, or longer durations after upgrading to Pro? Learn why

Updated over a week ago

Why your challenge didn’t change after upgrading

Thanks for upgrading to Stridekick Pro! If you’ve just upgraded but aren’t seeing any changes in your current challenge—like increased participant limits, private access, or extended duration—you’re not alone. This is expected behavior.

Here’s why:

Upgrading to Pro does not automatically update or apply to any challenges you created before upgrading.

Your Pro plan benefits only apply to newly created challenges. These benefits include:

  • Private, invite-only challenges

  • Higher participant limits (based on your plan size)

  • Challenge durations of up to 45 days

  • Access to all 5 challenge modes (Leaderboard, Daily Habit, Target, Virtual Race, and Streak)

If you created a challenge on the Free plan and then upgraded to Pro, your existing challenge will still follow Free plan limits (public, 10 participants max, 7-day limit).

How to access your Pro features

To take full advantage of your Pro plan, you’ll need to create a new challenge after upgrading. It’s quick and easy!

Here’s how:

  1. Open the Stridekick app and go to your dashboard

  2. Tap the blue + Join/Create button (also available in the Challenges tab)

  3. Tap Create a challenge

  4. Set your preferred mode, goal, and duration

  5. Make the challenge private (optional)

  6. Add your challenge details

  7. Share the invite link with your group

Once you start a new challenge after upgrading, all of your Pro features will be available automatically.
