How to Upgrade Your Stridekick Subscription

Learn how to upgrade to Stridekick Pro to unlock private challenges, longer durations, and larger participant limits.

Upgrading to a Stridekick Pro plan unlocks private challenges for your friends, family, or group. With Pro, you can:

  • Run private challenges that only your invited participants can join

  • Extend your challenges to last up to 45 days (instead of the 7-day limit in Free)

  • Invite more participants—select your total participants when choosing your plan

  • Get priority support from our team when you need help

Upgrade for up to 50 participants right from the app using Apple Pay or Google Pay. Have more than 50 participants? Contact us.


šŸ›  Ways to Upgrade to Pro

You can upgrade your Stridekick plan at any time in a few different places in the app:


1. From the Main Menu

Open the Stridekick app

Tap the ☰ menu icon in the top left corner

Tap the purple ā€œUpgrade to Proā€ button at the bottom of the menu

2. While Creating a Challenge

If you're in the middle of setting up a challenge, you’ll see purple Pro upgrade prompts throughout the flow–little reminders that you’ve got options!

You’ll see these:

  • When choosing your challenge mode

  • When selecting the start date or duration (limited to 7 days on Free)

  • When naming your challenge

  • If you try to make your challenge private (Pro-only feature)

  • After you create the challenge, when you’re shown an invite link

Each upsell includes a purple ā€œGet Stridekick Proā€ button to guide you through your upgrade.

šŸ’³ How to Complete Your Upgrade if you have under 50 participants

Once you tap ā€œUpgrade to Pro,ā€ here’s what happens:

  1. You’ll see our Pro plan options based on total participants

  2. Choose the plan that fits your group size

  3. Confirm your subscription through your device's app store

  4. You’re in! šŸŽ‰ Your new plan is activated immediately


šŸ•“ When Will I See the Updates?

Heads up: Upgrading to Pro will not change any challenges you created before upgrading. To use your new Pro features like higher participant limits, longer durations, and private settings, you will need to create a new challenge after your upgrade. Once you upgrade, all Pro settings will be available right away for any new challenges you create.


šŸ” Can I Switch Plans Later?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your Pro plan at any time. It's easy to switch based on your group size or challenge needs.

To change your plan, you have two options:

Option 1: From the Stridekick app

  • Open the Stridekick app

  • Tap the ☰ menu icon in the top left

  • Select Manage Subscription

  • Choose a new plan when prompted

Option 2: From your app store

  • On iPhone: Go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Stridekick

  • On Android: Open the Google Play Store > Profile icon > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > Stridekick

Once you select a new plan, your subscription will update through your app store. Any billing changes or credits will be handled automatically.


šŸ§‘ā€šŸ’¼ Need More Than 50 Participants or Want Team Mode?

If you’re running a challenge with more than 50 people, or need features like Team Mode or Detailed Challenge Reporting, you’ll need a large group Plan.
