How to Change the Language in Stridekick

Learn how to change the language in the Stridekick app between English, Spanish, or Canadian French

What languages are supported by the Stridekick app?

The Stridekick mobile and web apps are currently available in the following languages:

  • English

  • Spanish

  • Canadian French

Changing Your Language on an iPhone

To adjust your language on an iPhone, please open your phone's Settings app > General > Language & Region > iPhone Language > select your preferred language (Spanish, French, or English) > select Change to Spanish/French/English.

Note: Applying this setting will restart your iPhone so the change can take effect.

Now, please open Stridekick and you should see that the app is now displayed in your selected language.

Change Your Language on an Android Phone

To adjust your language on an Android phone, please open your phone's Settings app > General Management > Language and input > Language > Add language > select your preferred language (Spanish, French, or English) > Set as Default.

Note: Steps may vary slightly by Android device.

Now, please close and reopen the Stridekick app and you should see that the app is now displayed in your selected language.

What text is translated in the Stridekick mobile app?

Any copy that is hard-coded into the app is translated into the languages listed above. This includes your activity on your dashboard and your last sync time, your challenges, your user profile and settings, etc.

Which text is NOT translated in the Stridekick mobile app?

  • The full Stridekick help center (all articles)

  • Challenge names and descriptions. These will show in the language they were written.

  • Chat messages. These will show in the language they were written.

Troubleshooting steps

If Stridekick isn't updating to your selected language, please delete and reinstall the Stridekick app. This should update your language preferences in Stridekick.
