How to Get on the Latest Version of the Stridekick App

Updating to the latest version is one of the easiest ways to fix common problems and get the best experience in Stridekick. šŸ“²

If you’re seeing any of the following issues, you’re likely not on the latest version:

  • 🚫 Can’t log in or verify your email

  • šŸŒ€ Seeing a blank or endlessly loading screen

  • šŸ“‰ Steps or data aren’t syncing, even after refreshing

  • 🧱 Challenge invites or Pro features aren’t working

  • āŒ Errors that say ā€œOopsā€ or ā€œSomething went wrongā€

  • šŸ’¬ In-app messages or menus not loading correctly

Good news: A quick update usually fixes it!


āœ… How to Update the Stridekick App

Option 1: Tap into the App Store or Google Play Page

  1. Open your App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android)

  2. Search for ā€œStridekickā€

  3. Tap into the app’s full page (don’t just look at the search result!)

  4. If there’s an update available, you’ll see a blue or green Update button

  5. Tap Update to install the latest version


Option 2: Update from Your Account Settings in the App Store

On iPhone:

  1. Open the App Store

  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner

  3. Scroll to the Available Updates section

  4. Find Stridekick and tap Update

On Android:

  1. Open the Google Play Store

  2. Tap your profile icon

  3. Tap Manage apps & device

  4. Go to the Updates available tab

  5. Tap Update next to Stridekick


Option 3: Delete and Reinstall the App

Still not seeing an update? Try a clean install:

  1. Delete the Stridekick app from your device

  2. Head to your App Store or Google Play Store

  3. Download Stridekick again

  4. Log in with your same account info


šŸ” How to Turn On Automatic App Updates

Make sure you’re always up to date without lifting a finger.

On iPhone:

  • Go to Settings > App Store

  • Toggle on App Updates under Automatic Downloads

On Android:

  • Open the Google Play Store

  • Tap your profile icon > Settings

  • Go to Network preferences > Auto-update apps

  • Choose Over Wi-Fi only or Over any network

Note: Even with auto-updates enabled, it may take a few days for the latest version to roll out. If you're troubleshooting, manual updating is faster.
