Changing Your Plan
When you switch to a different Stridekick plan, billing is handled by Apple (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play (Android). Here's what to expect on each platform.
iPhone & iPad
Upgrading to a higher-tier plan
Your new plan starts right away. Apple charges the full price of the new plan and then refunds you for the unused time left on your old plan. You may see two transactions β a charge and a partial refund. This is normal and the refund usually appears within a few business days.
Downgrading to a lower-tier plan
You'll keep your current plan through the end of your billing period. Your new plan starts at your next renewal date, and you'll be charged the lower price from that point on.
Android
Upgrading to a bigger plan (e.g., more seats)
Your new plan starts right away. Google Play charges you the price difference for the days remaining in your current billing period. At your next renewal, you'll be charged the full price of the new plan.
Switching from monthly to annual
Your annual plan starts right away and you're charged the full annual price. Any unused time from your monthly plan is credited toward your new plan, extending your first annual billing cycle by those extra days.
Switching from annual to monthly
Your plan switches to monthly right away, but you won't be charged again until your next renewal date. Since you've already paid for the year, there's no additional charge now β monthly billing picks up when your current period ends.
Downgrading to a smaller plan (e.g., fewer seats)
You'll keep your current plan through the end of your billing period. The smaller plan takes effect at your next renewal date, and you'll be charged the lower price from that point on.
Canceling Your Subscription
When you cancel, your subscription stays active through the end of your current billing period β you won't lose access right away. After that, it simply won't renew.
iPhone / iPad: Settings β your name β Subscriptions β Stridekick β Cancel
Android: Google Play Store β profile icon β Payments & subscriptions β Subscriptions β Stridekick β Cancel
Refunds
Subscription billing is managed by Apple or Google Play, so refunds go through them directly.

Android: Visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
Recent purchases (typically within 48 hours) are usually processed quickly. Older charges are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Common Questions
"I see two charges after upgrading on iPhone."
This is expected! When you upgrade on iPhone, Apple charges the full price of your new plan and then refunds you for the unused portion of your old plan. Check your purchase history β you should see a refund alongside the new charge. If the refund doesn't appear within a few business days, you can contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
"I downgraded but I'm still being charged the old price."
When you switch to a lower plan, the change takes effect at your next renewal date β not immediately. You'll keep your current plan through the end of your billing period, and then you'll renew at the new, lower price.
To check your renewal date:
iPhone / iPad: Settings β your name β Subscriptions β Stridekick
Android: Google Play Store β Payments & subscriptions β Subscriptions
"I upgraded on Android but was only charged a small amount."
When you upgrade on Android, Google Play charges just the price difference for the days left in your current billing period. At your next renewal, you'll be charged the full price of the new plan. You're not being undercharged β it's prorated so you don't pay double for the same time period.
"I canceled but I still have access."
That's normal! When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period. You'll continue to have full access until then β it just won't renew after that.
