Using the Friends Feature in Stridekick

Find out how to send, respond to, and update friend requests

Stay motivated by adding friends in Stridekick! Once you’re connected, you’ll be able to compare activity stats—even when you’re not in the same challenge.


🏅 What Can You Do with Friends?

  • Compare daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly stats

  • Keep each other accountable through the Friends leaderboard

  • View your friends’ public profiles

✨ Once a friend request is accepted, you’ll see their activity in your Friends tab.


📲 Navigating the Friends Leaderboard

  1. Tap the Friends tab in the bottom navigation bar

  2. Filter your leaderboard by:

    • Steps, distance, or active minutes

    • Day, week, month, or year

  3. Tap the < arrow to view past time periods


➕ How to Add a Friend

  1. Tap the Friends tab in the bottom navigation bar

  2. Tap the Add button in the top right

  3. Search by username or full name

  4. Tap the Add Friend icon next to their name

  5. Tap Send request to confirm

✅ Once accepted, your new friend will appear in your Friends tab!


📬 Responding to a Friend Request

  1. Go to the Friends tab

  2. Tap the Requests tab in the top right

  3. Tap Accept to confirm the request, or Decline to remove it


❌ Canceling a Sent Request

  1. Tap the Add button from the Friends tab

  2. Search for the person you sent a request to

  3. Tap the Cancel button next to their name


🚫 Removing a Friend

  1. Tap the Friends tab

  2. Search for the friend you want to remove

  3. Tap their name to open the profile overlay

  4. Tap View profile

  5. Tap the green Friends button

  6. Tap Yes, unfriend to confirm


🔐 Privacy Note

Once you add someone as a friend, your full name will be visible to them.
If you prefer to stay anonymous, don’t send or accept friend requests.
