What happened to Google Fit?

As of June 2025, Google has officially discontinued Google Fit.

Android users are now encouraged to transition to Google Health Connect to securely share data between apps. If you were previously using Google Fit with Stridekick, you’ll need to switch over to Health Connect to continue syncing your steps.
